AM-12

In the early 1960s Alaparma installed a turbojet engine ‘Turbomeca Palas’ with a thrust of 160 kgs.

On February 17, 1962, the aircraft broke the world record for L.A. with a weight of up to 500 kg reaching a height of 6,700 meters, for which the developer was awarded the Bleriot Prize.

AM-12

Once again, Mantelli broke this record in a AM.12 with a piston engine ‘Praga D’ with a capacity of 75 hp, rising on April 16, 1964 to a height of 8,763 meters.

The Italian Air Force used the sole AM.12 as a trainer.
