The construction of the Z.XI aircraft prototype was finalised in 1934.
This particular aircraft was a low-wing wooden aircraft with a single seat, powered by a Continental A40-2 engine generating 32 hp (24 kW).
Throughout the testing phase, the aircraft demonstrated commendable flight performance attributes, and the pilots highly appreciated its effortless manoeuvrability.
Regrettably, due to financial constraints, the Ministry of Aviation in Czechoslovakia was unable to allocate funds for the mass production of this aircraft.
Nonetheless, the company took it upon themselves to complete the construction of one additional aircraft of the same kind, bearing the expenses.
