Yokosuka MXY5

The Yokosuka MXY5 was a military glider that was manufactured for the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II.

The glider was constructed using a tubular steel frame that was covered with plywood and fabric.

Additionally, the design incorporated a retractable undercarriage and an emergency skid.

The glider underwent flight testing in 1942, and a total of 12 units were produced.

However, none of these gliders were utilized in any operational capacity.
