Orenco D2 / PW-3
Orenco D2
In 1921, the military ordered the construction of three copies of the PW-3 prototype for comparative testing.
In the same year, one aircraft was delivered to McCook Field and received the serial number P-229.
The only PW-3 built remained in storage until 1926, after which it was scrapped.
Two more ordered aircraft were never built.
Soon the company Orenco ceased to exist.
