AVIC – Harbin Y-12

The Y-12 is a twin-engine turboprop STOL general purpose aircraft.

The aircraft is a high-wing monoplane with a single tail and non retractable, tricycle landing gear.

The Y-12 can perform cargo and passenger transport.

It can also be modified for parachute jumping, air dropping, maritime survey, aerial photography, geological survey, forestry seeding, air ambulance, sightseeing and etc.

It can take-off and land on unprepared airstrips, grass and sandstone runways.
