Avia S-92 & CS-92 Turbina

Following World War II, the Czechoslovak aircraft industry continued to manufacture both single-seat (Avia S-92) and two-seat (Avia CS-92) versions of the Me 262.

By August 1946, a total of nine S-92s and three CS-92s had been produced and successfully tested.

These aircraft were officially introduced in 1947 and were eventually assigned to the 5th Fighter Squadron in 1950, marking the first deployment of jet fighters in the Czechoslovak Air Force.

The S-92s and CS-92s remained in service until 1951, at which point they were replaced by Soviet jet fighters.
