The Arado SC I, a biplane trainer, was developed in Germany during the 1920s.
It was an adaptation of the S I model, featuring a significantly more potent inline engine, which required the structure to be reinforced.
Originally designed for the covert military aviation school in Lipetsk, the aircraft was ultimately not utilised for this purpose.
Instead, a limited quantity was manufactured for the Deutsche Verkehrsfliegerschule.
