Albatros Dr.I
The Albatros Dr. I, a German fighter triplane based on the D.V, featured three pairs of wings instead of the usual two.
Despite being similar to the D.V in other aspects, it underwent comparison trials alongside the existing biplane in the summer of 1917.
However, no significant performance advantage was observed, leading to the discontinuation of development at the prototype phase.
