AIDC PL-1B Cheinshou

The PL-1 was a cantilever, low-wing aircraft equipped with a fixed tricycle landing gear.

It featured side-by-side seating for two crew members and was powered by a 95 hp (71 kW) Continental C-90 piston engine.

The Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) constructed a PL-1 for evaluation, which took its maiden flight on October 26, 1968.

Subsequently, AIDC produced 58 units of the aircraft, designated as the PL-1B (Cheinshou), for the Republic of China Air Force, each fitted with a more powerful 150 hp (112 kW) Avco Lycoming O-320 engine.
