Fokker-Atlantic Y1C-14 & Y1C-15
The Y1C-14 & Y1C-15 are military versions of the civilian F-14.
The Y1C-14 was used for cargo, skydiving and other military duties of the USAAC.
20 Y1C-14s were built, some of which were later modified and given a different type of designation.
All Y1C-14s have been used by the USAAC since 1931.
Some Y1C-14s were later designated as type
C-14
.
As standard, the Y1C-14 flew with one Wright Cyclone R-1750-3 engine of 525 hp.
The Y1C-15 was a re-engined version with a
575 hp (429 kW) Wright R-1820 Cyclone engine, this was later designated C-15.

F-14
Civil production version with a 525 hp (391 kW) Wright R-1750-3 radial engine.
Y1C-14
Designation for 20 Hornet-powered examples bought for the United States Army Air Corps in 1931, later became the C-14.
Y1C-14A
Last of the 20 Y1C-14s re-engines with a 575 hp (429 kW) Wright R-1820-7 Cyclone.
Y1C-14B
Re-engine with a 525 hp (391 kW) Pratt & Whitney R-1690-5 Hornet.
Y1C-15
Conversion of the ninth Y1C-14 as an air ambulance.
Y1C-15A
F-14 re-engine with a 575 hp (429 kW) Wright R-1820 Cyclone, later C-15A.
